Political Correctness Properly Defined

A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Terrorist and Israel

As Bill O'Reilly accurately reported, "If the terrorists

stopped killing and laid down their arms, the violence

in the Middle East and in Iraq, for that matter, will stop."

"If Israel throws all of its weapons into the Mediterranean

Sea, there will be another Holocaust."

John McCain the Untrustworthy

Running him as the Republican presidential candidate, you have to be kidding. He is inconsistent, untrustworthy and undependable. (That's my frustration w/ Bush right now, he thinks he's McCain). McCain is the personification of the Manchurian Candidate. Show him the card and he does incredibly stupid things. See the following list of his behaviors.:

* Campaign Finance Reform (CFR) is a direct attack on the heart of the first amendment and is nothing more than incumbant protection.

* His "torture" amendment accomplished exactly nothing other than accusing our military personnel of torturing detainees and giving cover to the anti-war kooks and France.

* He has regularly opposed tax cuts. And tax reform.

* His position on immigration is amnesty only.

* He has "supported the war" out of one side of his mouth and simultaneously criticized the Administration for it’s conduct at virtually every opportunity.

* He thinks Roe should not be overturned.

* His position on judges is unclear. People more informed than me, expect he would appoint Souter/Kennedy types to protect CFR.

* He attacked the SwiftVets for telling the truth about John Kerry and defended his "good friend" Senator Kerry while considering the VP slot on the Democratic ticket in ‘04.

Seeing him in action, I firmly believe he landed on his head when he parachuted out of his jet over Vietnam. He doesn't understand you can't talk your way out of what you behaved your way into.

It isn't pro-gun versus anti-gun, it is pro-self defense versus pro-police state

Calling politicians out on their suport or non-support of the Second Amendment is useful but doesn't really put them on the spot. This fundamentally isn't a question of pro-gun versus anti-gun.

It is about whether the politician is:

"pro-self defense"

or

"pro-police state".

If they are pro-self defense, then that means individuals have to have weapons to defend themselves.

If they are pro-police state, that means that only the state has weapons.

When you frame it this way it is clearer to non-gun people what the real debate is. Non-gun people don't feel the need to own guns, but they sure believe they have the right to defend themselves. The honest ones know that the state isn't going to be there to defend them when needed, only there to respond after the fact and investigate the results.

Labelling a politician Pro-gun or Anti-gun doesn't do much for me (see McCain), labeling them Pro-self defense or Pro-police state tells me everything I need to know.

Fair Taxes and Influence-Peddling

Forget revenue neutral. Who says the government is entitled to what they steal from you now. The government is confiscating from you for functions not spelled out in the constitution.

Using the proceeds of armed robbery to aid the poor does not justify the armed robbery. Such actions do not reflect Christian Charity, either. Coerced "charity" is not really charity at all.

The Sixteenth Amendment to the Constitution is repealed along with all Federal Excise taxes and fees

Federal taxing is done ONLY by a sales tax. No more hidden taxes, like those on gasoline, tires and telephone for example.

To comprehend the poor and elderly as well as everyone else, food, housing, medical, medication, utilities, transportation and transportation maintenance for everyone are sales tax exempt.

The Only Money the Federal Government can pick your pocket for, is to support specific functions spelled out in the US Constitution, Article I Section 8. To refresh your memory here's what's in the Constitution.

Article I

Section 8.

The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts and excises, to pay the debts and provide for the common defense and general welfare of the United States; but all duties, imposts and excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;

To borrow money on the credit of the United States;

To regulate commerce with foreign nations, and among the several states, and with the Indian tribes;

To establish a uniform rule of naturalization, and uniform laws on the subject of bankruptcies throughout the United States;

To coin money, regulate the value thereof, and of foreign coin, and fix the standard of weights and measures;

To provide for the punishment of counterfeiting the securities and current coin of the United States;

To establish post offices and post roads;

To promote the progress of science and useful arts, by securing for limited times to authors and inventors the exclusive right to their respective writings and discoveries;

To constitute tribunals inferior to the Supreme Court;

To define and punish piracies and felonies committed on the high seas, and offenses against the law of nations;

To declare war, grant letters of marque and reprisal, and make rules concerning captures on land and water;

To raise and support armies, but no appropriation of money to that use shall be for a longer term than two years;

To provide and maintain a navy;

To make rules for the government and regulation of the land and naval forces;

To provide for calling forth the militia to execute the laws of the union, suppress insurrections and repel invasions;

To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining, the militia, and for governing such part of them as may be employed in the service of the United States, reserving to the states respectively, the appointment of the officers, and the authority of training the militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress;

To exercise exclusive legislation in all cases whatsoever, over such District (not exceeding ten miles square) as may, by cession of particular states, and the acceptance of Congress, become the seat of the government of the United States, and to exercise like authority over all places purchased by the consent of the legislature of the state in which the same shall be, for the "construction" (note: read the Constitution for the original word, townhall politically correct word screener doesn't like the original word) of forts, magazines, arsenals, dockyards, and other needful buildings;--And

To make all laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into execution the foregoing powers, and all other powers vested by this Constitution in the government of the United States, or in any department or officer thereof.

The sales tax rate is set to cover the budgets of these specific government functions in Article I Section 8.

All other Federal Departments would be funded only to the point that you are willing to donate money to their cause. In other words, you reach into your pocket and contribute to these socialist programs instead of the government reaching into your pocket and stealing it from you. If they get contributions, they survive to the point they are funded by your donations. No money, no department. You care about the function, you will donate, if you don't, it dies.

This requires the end of pork. Nearly two decades ago, during dinner with the late Nobel Laureate Friedrich Hayek, Walter Williams asked him if he had the power to write one law that would get government out of our lives, what would that law be?

Professor Hayek replied he'd write a law that read: Whatever Congress does for one American it must do for all Americans.

He elaborated: If Congress makes payments to one American for not raising pigs, every American not raising pigs should also receive payments. Obviously, were there to be such a law, there would be reduced capacity for privilege granting by Congress and less influence peddling.

The sales tax rate is set for 3 years with a sunset clause. At that time, it would have to be adjusted to meet an updated set of U.S. and World conditions.

Ultimately what makes this tax fair, is all voters pay into the system.. There are no voters who don't contribute to the running and upkeep of the country.

Voter Fraud in Massachusetts

Time to conduct a voter fraud investigation in Massachuetts. There is no other way to explain the continuous election of two individuals to the Senate with such limited mental capacity.

Death Penalty Opponents

I have no problem ending the death penalty with the following caveat: I and other like minded individuals are not responsible for paying for housing, medical treatment and feeding these convicted criminals.

That direct responsibility for paying for the housing, feeding and medical care falls directly and only to those opposed to the death penalty.

In other words, put their money where their mouth is. They stop paying to support these criminals, they are executed.

Iran's Nuclear Program

I've got no problem with Iran having a nuclear program. It just needs to be clarified that I define it as Iran being on the receiving end of our's.

Global Warming-nobody really knows for sure

My analysis breaks down the arguments into three camps.

1. We don't know if there is "on-going" global warming now or not. Direct global-wide atmospheric temperature measurement is not long term enough to confirm which way the climate is trending. In the life of the planet, the calibrated mercury thermometer has been around an insignificant amount of time (read that 100+ years versus multiple 1,000's of years). Scientists are using such things as tree rings and sediment to exstrapolate temperatures before the invention of the thermometer and it worldwide application. Computer models using this "short-term" data have been inconsistent, read that wrong in predicting future temperatures.

2. There is global warming and it is the normal progression our climate. Using the ice age compared to today's climate as the benchmark, that makes sense, or we would StILL be in an ice age. In this scenario, man did not and does not have impact on the climate. It's going to go where's it's going to go, we are just along for the ride.

3. There is global warming and it is due to human intervention, i.e. industrial age, alteration of vegetation (forests and farming). In this scenario, the notion is that man is causing the problem and therefore man can reverse the problem. Summary of this position, "Freeze or fry, the problem is always industrial capitalism, and the solution is always international socialism."

I'm in camp number 1 with a leaning toward number 2.

Note: The typical global warming supporter, claims scientists are in agreement.  They are lying.  First of all, all scientists are not created equal.  The ONLY scientist's opinions that count about global warming are actual climatologists of which there aren't many and they aren't in agreement.  Here's the definition of a climatologists so you can be educated.

Climatology is the study of climate, or past weather, and is a branch of the atmospheric sciences. In contrast to meteorology, which studies short term weather systems lasting up to a few weeks, climatology studies the frequency with which these weather systems occurred in the past. It studies the periodicity of weather events over years to millennia, as well as changes in long-term average weather patterns, in relation to atmospheric conditions. Climatologists, those who practice climatology, study both the nature of climates - local, regional or global - and the natural or human-induced factors that cause climates to change. Climatology considers the past and can help predict future climate change.

Phenomena of climatological interest include the atmospheric boundary layer, circulation patterns, heat transfer (radiative, convective and latent), interactions between the atmosphere and the oceans and land surface (particularly vegetation, land use and topography), and the chemical and physical composition of the atmosphere. Related disciplines include chemistry, ecology, geology, geophysics, glaciology, hydrology, oceanography, and volcanology.

Climatology is approached in a variety of ways. Paleoclimatology seeks to reconstruct past climates by examining records such as ice cores and tree rings (dendroclimatology). The study of contemporary climates incorporates meteorological data accumulated over many years, such as records of rainfall, temperature and atmospheric composition. Knowledge of the atmosphere and its dynamics is also embodied in models, either statistical or mathematical, which help by integrating different observations and testing how they fit together. Modeling is used for understanding past, present and potential future climates.

Climate research is made difficult by the large scale, long time periods, and complex processes which govern climate. It is generally accepted that climate is governed by differential equations based on physical laws, but what, exactly, are these equations, and what can be concluded from them, is still subject to debate. Climate is sometimes modeled as a stochastic process but this is generally accepted as an approximation to processes that are otherwise too complicated to analyze.

As to Al Gore's alleged "consensus of scientists" about global warming, this can only come from the person who invented the internet.  There is no such thing as consensus in science, it is either proven or it is not. Consensus applies to politics, not science!!!!!!!!!

Politician's Philosophy-regardless of affilliation

Politician's philosophy is, "What's mine is mine, and what's yours is negotiable."

Alternately, I have got what it takes to take what you've got.

US Should Adopt Mexico's Immigration Policy

1. If you migrate to this country, you must speak the native language.

2. You have to be a professional or an investor. No unskilled workers

allowed.

3. The will be no special bilingual programs in the schools or special

ballots for elections. All government business will be conducted in

our language.

4. Foreigners will NOT have the right to vote no matter how long they

are here.

5. Foreigners will NEVER be able to hold political office.

6. Foreigners will not be a burden to taxpayers. No welfare, no food

stamps, no health care or other government assistance programs will

be available to foreigners.

7. Foreigners can invest in this country, but it must be in an amount

equal to 40,000 the daily minimum wage.

8. Foreign ownership of real estate in this country is restricted. No

ownership of waterfront property by foreigners is allowed.

9. Foreigners are not allowed to protest the policies of the government

by demonstrations or flag waving. Foreigners in violation of this will

be deported.

10. If you do come to this country illegally, you will be hunted down

and sent straight to jail.

HARSH, YOU SAY? CRUEL? INHUMANE?

THE ABOVE LAWS HAPPEN TO BE THE IMMIGRATION LAWS OF MEXICO!!

You are a foreigner, shutup and follow the law or get out

Congress: What a Joke

We don't need 22,000 gun laws.

We don't need Congress involved in the cigarette industry.

We don't need them involved in education and

creating race/sex-based punishments.

We need Congress and the president to understand
"secure the borders now,
no work permits,
no amnesty and
no citizenship for illegals – and
severe punitive action for businesses and individuals who hire them."

Congress should know that America believes marriage is between one man and one woman, and

that we're fed up with the death tax.

They should know we've had it with their arrogance and pomposity.
