OBAMA'S HEALTH CARE PLAN:

(1) You ask for Viagra, and they give you a Popsicle stick and duct tape

When a company falls on difficult times, one of the things that seems to happen
are they reduce their staff and workers. The remaining workers need to find ways
to continue to do a good job or risk that their job would be eliminated as well.
Wall street, and the media normally congratulate the CEO for making this type of
"tough decision", and his board of directors gives him a big bonus.

I feel our government should not be immune from similar risks. I therefore am
recommending the following cuts to be implemented by the next president elect.

Reduce the House of Representatives from the current 435 members to 218 members
and Senate members from 100 to 50 (one per State). Also reduce remaining staff
by 25%, Accomplish this over the next 8 years. (two steps / two elections) and
of course this would require some redistricting.

Some yearly monetary gains include:

$44,108,400 for elimination of base pay for congress. (267 members X $165,200
pay / member / yr.)

$97,175,000 for elimination of the above people's staff. (estimate $1.3 Mil in
staff per each member of the House, and $3 Mil in staff per each member of the
Senate every year)

$240,294 for the reduction in remaining staff by 25%.

$7,500,000,000 reduction in pork barrel ear-marks each year. (those members
who's jobs are gone. Current estimates for total government pork earmarks are at
$15 Billion / yr)

The remaining representatives would need to work smarter and would need to
improve efficiencies. It might even be in their best interests to work together
for the good of our country.

We may also expect that smaller committees might lead to a more efficient
resolution of issues as well. It might even be easier to keep track of what your
representative is doing.

Congress has more tools available to do their jobs than it had back in 1911 when
the current number of representatives was established. (Telephones, computers,
cell phones to name a few).

Note: Congress did not hesitate to jump on a train for home this week when it
was a holiday, when the nation needed a real fix to the economic problems. Also,
we have 3 senators that have not been doing their jobs for the past 18+ months
(on the campaign trail) and still they all have been accepting full pay. These
facts alone support a reduction in senators & congress.

Summary of opportunity:

$44,108,400 reduction of congress members.

$282,100,000 for elimination of the reduced house member staff.

$150,000,000 for elimination of reduced senate member staff.

$59,675,000 for 25% reduction of staff for remaining house members.

$37,500,000 for 25% reduction of staff for remaining senate members.

$7,500,000,000 reduction in pork added to bills by the reduction of congress
members.

$8,073,383,400 per year,estimated total savings.

Big business does these types of cuts all the time.

I AM SO NOT IN.....

I have noted that many elected officials, both Democrats and Republicans, called upon America to unite behind Obama.

Well, I want to make it clear to all who will listen that I AM NOT uniting behind Obama!

I will respect the Office, which he holds, and I will acknowledge his abilities as an orator and wordsmith (read LIAR) and pray for him, BUT that is it.

I have begun today to see what I can do to make sure that He is a one-term President!

Why am I doing this?

It is because:

§ I do not share Obama's vision or Value system for America ;

§ I do not share his Abortion beliefs;

§ I do not share his radical Marxist's concept of re-distributing wealth;

§ I do not share his stated views on raising taxes on those who make $150,000 and the ceiling has been changed three times since August;

§ I do not share his view that America is arrogant;

§ I do not share his view that America is not a Christian Nation;

§ I do not share his view that the military should be reduced by 25%;

§ I do not share his view of amnesty and giving more to illegals than American Citizens who need help;

§ I do not share his views on homosexuality and his definition of marriage;

  § I do not share his views that Radical Islam is our friend and Israel is our enemy who should give up any land;

§ I do not share his spiritual beliefs (at least the ones he has made public);

§ I do not share his beliefs on how to re-work the health care system in America ;

§ I do not share his strategic views of the Middle East, and certainly do not share his plan to sit down with terrorist regimes such as Iran.

§ I do not share his view that law-abiding citizens should be denied the right to own and use firearms in any lawful way they see fit!

Bottom line, my America is vastly different from Obama's, and I have a higher obligation to my Country and my God to do what is right!

For eight (8) years, the Liberals in our Society, led by numerous entertainers who would have no platform and no real credibility but for their celebrity status, have attacked President Bush, his family, and his spiritual beliefs!

The shameful way his campaign attacked Sarah Palin during the recent election. (And her family);

They have not moved toward the center in their beliefs and their philosophies, and they never came together nor compromised their personal beliefs for the betterment of our Country! They have portrayed my America as a land where everything is tolerated except being intolerant!

They have been a vocal and irreverent minority for years; they have mocked and attacked the very core values so important to the founding and growth of our Country!

They have made every effort to remove the name of God or Jesus Christ from our Society! They have challenged capital punishment, the right to bear firearms, and the most basic principles of our criminal code; they have attacked one of the most fundamental of all Freedoms, the right of free speech!

Unite behind Obama? Never!

I am sure many of you who read this think that I am going overboard, but I refuse to retreat one more inch in favor of those whom I believe are the embodiment of Evil!

PRESIDENT BUSH made mistakes during his Presidency, and I am not sure how history will judge him.

However, I believe that he weighed his decisions in light of the long established Judeo-Christian principles of our Founding Fathers!!!

Majority rules in America, and I will honor the concept; however, I will fight with all of my power to be a voice in opposition to Obama and "his goals for America."

I am going to be a thorn in the side of those who, if left unchecked, will destroy our Country!! Any more compromise is more defeat!

I pray that the results of this election will wake up many who have sat on the sidelines and allowed the Socialist-Marxist anti-God crowd to slowly change so much of what has been good in America !

SOCIAL SECURITY: 

Perhaps we are asking the wrong questions during election years.. 

Our Senators and Congresswomen do not pay into Social Security and, of course, they do not collect from it. 
You see, Social Security benefits were not suitable for persons of their rare elevation in society. They felt they should have a special plan for themselves. So, many years ago they voted in their own benefit plan. 

In more recent years, no congressperson has felt the need to change it. After all, it is a great plan. 

For all practical purposes their plan works like this:

When they retire, they continue to draw the same pay until they die. 
Except it may increase from time to time for cost of living adjustments... 

For example, Senator Byrd and Congressman White and their wives may expect to draw $7, 800,000.00 (that's Seven Million, Eight-Hundred Thousand Dollars), with their wives drawing $275, 000..00 during the last years of their lives. 
This is calculated on an average life span for each of those two Dignitaries. 

Younger Dignitaries who retire at an early age, will receive much more during the rest of their lives. 

Their cost for this excellent plan is $0.00. NADA!!! ZILCH!!! 

This little perk they voted for themselves is free to them. You and I pick up the tab for this plan. The funds for this fine retirement plan come directly from the General Funds; 

"OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK"! 

From our own Social Security Plan, which you and I pay (or have paid) into, every payday until we retire (which amount is matched by our employer), We can expect to get an average of 
$1,000 per month after retirement. 

Or, in other words, we would have to collect our average of $1,000 monthly benefits for 68 years and one (1) month to equal Senator Bill Bradley's benefits! 

Social Security could be very good if only one small change were made. 

That change would be to 

Jerk the Golden Fleece Retirement Plan from under the Senators and Congressmen.. Put them into the Social Security plan with the rest of us 

Then sit back..... 

And see how fast they would fix it! 

If enough people receive this, maybe a seed of awareness will be planted and maybe good changes will evolve.

A vehicle getting 15 mpg and 12,000 miles per year uses 800 gallons a 
year of gasoline. 

A vehicle getting 25 mpg and 12,000 miles per year uses 480 gallons a 
year. 

 So, the average Clunker transaction will reduce US gasoline consumption 
by 320 gallons per year 

They claim 700,000 vehicles – so that's 224 million gallons per year. 

That equates to saving a bit over 5 million barrels of oil per year. I 
repeat---per YEAR. 

5 million barrels of oil is about ¼ of one day's US consumption. 

And, 5 million barrels of oil costs about $350 million dollars at $75/bbl. 

Our Government "gave" each Clunker Trader $4,500 per car for 700,000 
transactions which cost US Taxpayers $3,150,000,000--not including Washington's astounding 
Administrative costs. 

So, we all contributed through our taxes to spend more than $3 billion to 
save $350 million. 

How good a deal was that ??? 

They'll probably do a great job with health care though. NOT
