From a someone else's post, source long lost, but expresses my thoughts perfectly.
Psychopathic mass murderer, user of poison gas against innocents, torturer, despot, one-time hired assassin, indulgent and enabling father to psychopathic offspring, displacer of populations, (and, incidentally, massive embezzler, but that's trivial in comparison) Saddam Hussein, hung.
I only have one problem with Saddam Hussein's execution.
They could only do it once.
It's amazing how much outrage there is over the execution of a tyrant, compared to how some politicians and some media responded to the horrific beheading deaths of relative innocents like Daniel Pearl, Nick Berry, Paul Johnson, Eugene Armstrong, and Jack Hensley, not to mention the murder of aid worker Margarer Hassan, who dedicated her life to helping the Iraqui people.
Nor have I seen much outrage in some quarters about the daily murder of thousands of innocent Iraquis each day by car bombs. It's quite something, too, to see groups of Iraquis protesting how Saddam was executed, when many of these same people are behind the car bombings and the gruesome videotaped beheadings.
