In the West we have a creed called "Ride for the Brand?|". It means being loyal. When you work on a ranch (the brand) you do what the boss wants and publicly and private support what the boss wants done. You don't like what the boss wants and does, you ride out the front gate and go to work someplace else (ride for another brand).
Dissent in Corporate America works the same way.
When you disagree with your company's management you do it before the decision is made i.e. while the decision is being contemplated. You input into the decision publicly or behind closed doors according to the culture of your company.
If the decision goes against your interests, you have two choices. Either quit and go work some other place else or stay and publicly and privately support the decision.
Same goes for the country you live in. You make your inputs as the decision is being formed up. You lose you shutup and support the decision or you leave the country. To do otherwise, especially when the country is at war, is treason, it is not patriotic.
